Return Policy Overview

At Protomont Technologies, we prioritize customer satisfaction. If you need to return an item, please review our policy below.

Return Window

You have 48 hours from the time of receipt to request a return for eligible items.

Eligibility for Returns

To qualify for a return, items must meet the following criteria:

  • The item must be in its original packaging.
  • The product must be in its original condition, unused, and with all the tags and packaging intact to be eligible for a return.
  • Any item that has been used, damaged, or altered in any way after delivery will not qualify for a return.
  • A receipt or proof of purchase is required.
  • Save your receipt with the tracking number as proof of shipment. Keep this receipt until you have received your refund or replacement parcel.
  • Please pack the product carefully to prevent any damage during shipping.
  • Electronic equipment must be returned in its original packaging to avoid damage in transit.

Return & Replacement Policy for 3D Printed Models and Toys

All 3D-printed products, including toys and models, are non-returnable. However, replacements are available under the following conditions:

  • The item will be replaceable only if it is damaged from our end.
  • A proper unboxing video must be provided, showing that the product was damaged before receipt.
  • The item must be in its original packaging.
  • The product must be in its original condition, unused, and with all tags and packaging intact to be eligible for a replacement.
  • A receipt or proof of purchase is required.
  • Save your receipt with the tracking number as proof of shipment and keep it until you have received your replacement parcel.

Processing & Dispatch

  • Orders are processed within 24 hours.
  • Custom 3D-printed products may take longer, depending on the complexity of the design.

Delivery Timeline

  • 3D-printed models & toys are delivered within 12-15 business days after order confirmation.

Tracking Details

  • Customers will receive tracking details within 24 hours after the order is dispatched.

How to Initiate a Return?

To initiate a return, please contact our customer support team at support@protomont.com within 48 hours of delivery. Be sure to provide your order number and reason for the return.

  • Please note that the customer is responsible for shipping the product back to us. This includes arranging for a courier and covering the associated courier fees.
  • We advise you to use a trackable courier service to ensure your return reaches us safely. Protomont Technologies will not be responsible for any lost or undelivered packages during the return process.

Damages and Issues

Please inspect your order upon delivery. If you find that the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect, contact us immediately. Kindly record a video and take photos of all sides before unboxing the product. This will help us expedite the return or replacement process.
We will evaluate the issue and work to resolve it promptly.

Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return or exchange:

  • Products priced below ₹699, including items such as heat blocks, limit switches, nozzles, LED lights, and other small spare parts and accessories, are non-refundable and non-exchangeable. Please be aware that once purchased, these items cannot be returned or exchanged for any reason.
  • Perishable goods (e.g., filament, resin, 3D pens, nozzles, FEP films).
  • Custom products (e.g., special orders or personalized items).
  • Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases.
  • Sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges

We do not offer exchanges. If you receive the correct product but wish to return it, you will need to follow the return process outlined above.

Refund

After receiving and inspecting the returned item, we will process your refund within 7-10 business days.

  • A ₹200-₹300 deduction, based on product volume, will be applied to cover initial shipping costs.
  • The refund will be processed via the original payment method and should reflect in your bank account within 4 to 6 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.
  • If more than 15 business days have passed since your return was approved, please contact us.

Order Cancellations

Cancellations will only be considered if requested within 24 hours of placing the order. Cancellations will not be accepted once the order has been processed for shipping.

  • Please note: If a cancellation is made after the order has been processed, the customer will be responsible for the shipping charges. These charges will be deducted from the total amount paid.

Right to Cancel Orders

www.protomont.com reserves the right to cancel any order without any explanation for doing so, under situations where www.protomont.com is not able to meet the requirement of the order placed or the order placed/cancelled does not comply with www.protomont.com policy or for any other reason. However, www.protomont.com will ensure that any communication of cancellation of an order is intimated within an appropriate time to the concerned person and any applicable refund will be made in a reasonable time.
